    You mentioned that 70's are best for the reproduction of African Night-crawlers. Would that be the same for the red wigglers? Do the need the lime as well? Thanks.

    Keeping your bins below 80 is definitely optimum for worm reproduction. Add lime when using peat moss to raise your pH, it also doesn't hurt to add a teaspoon once in awhile for the additional calcium.
