Shipping, Delivery & Live Arrival Guarantee
At Worms4Earth, we guarantee that your earthworms will arrive alive and in good condition. To ensure their safety during transit, we may delay shipping during periods of extreme heat or cold.
If your worms do not arrive alive, you must report the loss within 12 hours of delivery. Please include clear photos of the dead worms and email or text them to us. Shipments reported after 12 hours will not qualify for a replacement.
Live Arrival Guarantee Requirements
To qualify for our Live Guarantee:
Someone must be available to receive the shipment at the delivery address.
If no one is available, let us know at checkout or by email, and we will mark the package:
“HOLD AT POST OFFICE FOR CUSTOMER PICKUP.”
When held at the Post Office, worms are guaranteed alive for 24 hours after arrival.
Important:
Failure to accept delivery on the first attempt, leaving the box in a hot mailbox, or not picking up held worms within 24 hours voids the Live Arrival Guarantee.
Refund & Replacement Policy
Refunds are available only before your order is shipped. Once your worms have shipped, we do not issue refunds for perishables.
If your worms arrive dead and meet the conditions of our Live Guarantee, we will reship your order at no additional cost. We do not issue cash refunds for dead worms.
We may delay shipping if extreme weather conditions put your worms at risk.
Incorrect Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.
We are not responsible for worms lost or dead due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Refunds will not be issued for address-related losses.
Returned Worm Factories due to incorrect addresses will be reshipped at your expense.
Reporting Dead or Damaged Shipments
Once your worms arrive, you are responsible for their care. If there is an issue with your order, contact us immediately.
We will assume your worms arrived alive unless you notify us within 12 hours of delivery. Do not refuse the delivery or dispose of the worms or packaging until you contact us.
Proof of Loss Requirements:
To receive a replacement shipment, you must send proof of loss as follows:
Empty the shipping bag and take multiple clear photos showing a significant number of dead worms. (A photo of just 10 worms is not sufficient.)
Take a photo of the shipping label clearly showing your name and address.
If the shipping box is damaged, include photos of the damage.
Email or text all photos to us within 12 hours of delivery.
